Judge Duncan Keith Smith is a lifelong resident of Allendale County, the son of the late Duncan C. and Alice C. Smith. He was a graduate of Allendale-Fairfax High School and Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science.

Judge Smith was Coroner, Soil and Water Conservation Commissioner and is now Chairman of the Lower Savannah River Alliance. He was elected Probate Judge of Allendale County in 2014. He has served the people of Allendale County as a funeral director and civic leader for over forty years.

He is married to Elizabeth Jones Sisson. He is blessed with three children, Duncan C. Smith and his wife Carmen, K. Porter Smith and JoAnna G. Smith; two grandsons, Fitz and Charlie.

Keith loves Allendale County, time on the Savannah River, riding his mule “Dolly” and spending time with family and friends.
